ERASMUS PRESENTATIONS AND HANDS-ON

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ ICM program Prof. Giedrė Beconytė and Dr. Jelena Vaitkevičienė, from the Institute of Geosciences at Vilnius University (Lithuania), as well as Prof. Vivian Oviedo, from the Institute of Geography at University of Havana (Cuba), offer the following presentations in the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformatics:

1st presentation: How maps lie, confuse, and impress (Prof. Giedrė Beconytė)
Hands-on activity: Make data talk and impress! (Dr. Jelena Vaitkevičienė)

Both activities will be held on Monday,  20 April, 10:00 AM -11:30 AM and 12:00-13:30 PM, Lágymányos Campus, Northern Building, computer room # 7.56

3rd presentation: Cartographic representations (Prof. Vivian Oviedo) - Thursday, 23/04/2026, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, Northern Building, computer room # 7.55
4th presentation: Making and types of thematic maps (Prof. Vivian Oviedo) - Thursday, 23/04/2026, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, Northern Building, computer room # 7.56
